Zootopia
In Theaters March 4
This looks hilarious and adorable, and it’s by the same people who did Wreck-It-Ralph which is easily one of the best animated movies of the past decade. Plus it’s Disney. So there’s that.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant
In Theaters: March 18
So here’s one instance where I hope the movie is nothing like the book. I despised Allegiant. I thought it was terrible. I thought it was a cop-out. I thought Veronica Roth just cobbled some sort of ending together because she didn’t know what else to do (all of that could be terribly unfair, maybe that was her plan from the beginning…still, the execution was BAD). Anyway. I hope the movie goes its own way. I enjoyed the first two movies (I adore the first book; SO GOOD), so I’m hoping the third is decent.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
In Theaters: March 25
I don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s a shame Christian Bale didn’t stick around to continue playing the best Batman we’ve had yet, though I was glad to see that Henry Cavill and Amy Adams will be reprising their roles from Man of Steel. And who knew Wonder Woman was showing up? I’m totes ok with that. It’ll be interesting to see if DC can finally pull off what Marvel’s been doing so well for the past few years. I’m skeptical, since Joss Whedon is nowhere to be seen.
I want to see Zootopia so bad! It looks adorable! I’m going to see Allegiant. To be honest, it’s been a while since I read the book so I don’t remember much besides the basic plot and how it ends. As for Batman v Superman, I don’t care too much to see that but I’m sure my husband will want to lol
Doesn’t Zootopia look amazing!? I’m so excited!! Yeah, I’m holding out hope that Allegiant will be good. We’ll see. Not much of a super hero movie person lol?
