May Book Releases

Monthly round up of new releases for May! What books are you most looking forward to this upcoming month?

A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2) by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Mist and Fury

Release Date: May 3

I’ve been waiting for this book since ACOTAR hit shelves. It was definitely my favorite book of last year. This one is pre-ordered and should be in my hands next week! Can’t wait!

Ruined (Ruined #1) by Amy Tinterra

Ruined

Release Date: May 3

I’ve been seeing this one around the blogosphere a lot. I’m always up for a sci-fi/fantasy/romance hybrid. Plus, PRETTY COVER.

Ok, so I know that’s only two books; there are others coming out that I know will be big, but I haven’t kept up with the series (namely, The Crown, #5 in The Selection series by Kiera Cass, and The Last Star #3 in the The Fifth Wave series by Rick Yancey). And of course, there’s generally a long line of contemporary romances that I don’t really read either.

What are you most looking forward to reading in May?

I’m looking forward to ‘Who Killed Sherlock Holmes?’ by Paul Cornell, whose writing I really like. and ‘Central Station’ by Lavie Tidhar. The cover looks fab and I think it’s an account of daily life in a sci fi mash-up.
