So I’m back (FINALLY), sorry for being MIA for so long! I had the most amazing time in New York. I saw the following ten shows:

1. Aladdin
2. Newsies
3. Violet
4. Pippin
5. A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder
6. Don Quixote (American Ballet Theater)
7. The Phantom of the Opera
8. Matilda
9. Les Miserables
10. The Lion King

All of which were AMAZING. It’s pretty much a three way tie for my favorite show between Pippin, Newsies, and Les Miserables, although Aladdin and Gentleman’s Guide were both amazing too! I definitely can’t choose.

I was fortunate to participate in some fantastic Musical Theater and Film workshops (I found out that apparently I’d be good in TV commercials? Who knew?) with casting directors from movies like Argo and TV shows like Bones. It was absolutely spectacular. It only reinforced my desire to live and work in NYC.

I will be reviewing every show I saw (except for maybe Don Quixote since I won’t be able to speak very eloquently on the dancing, which was phenomenal by the way). But for now, here are a few pics from my two faves, Newsies and Pippin.
