Stacking the Shelves #20

Well, had a great second trip in two weeks to Orlando for my second Disney audition, and now I’m back to audition more in Dallas, and to read as much as I can to get through my Take Control of Your To-Be-Read Shelf Challenge!

Here are the books I picked up this week! Let me know in the comments what you got!

Fire Study (Study #3)  by Maria V. Snyder – I’m a little wary about this one, because it doesn’t have the best reviews, but I LOVED the first two books of this series, so I have high hopes.

Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta  — I loved Jellicoe Road, so I’m excited about this one. Also, I needed a book to fit the “Set in the Southern Hemisphere” category in one of my reading challenges, so this is what I chose.

The Hierophant (Virtual Arcana #5) by Karen Amanda Hooper – Thank you Karen Amanda Hooper!! You rock! – Already read and reviewed. If you like sci-fi, you need to get into this series ASAP.

The One (The Selection #3) by Kiera Cass – First of all, I love the cover. It’s gorgeous. I’m hoping this one is less annoying that The Elite was.

The Ruby Circle (Bloodlines #6) by Richelle Mead – I don’t want it to be over. At least it’s bound to be awesome.

Treasure, Darkly (Treasure Chronicles #1) by Jordan Elizabeth – thanks to NetGalley/Curiosity Quills Press! I was drawn in by the dark and steampunk cover to this one. I can’t resist an awesome cover.

The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger – thanks to NetGalley/Little Brown/Poppy! I mostly got this because I wanted to read it before I saw the movie. It’s not my favorite genre, but I’m expecting to like it.

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share what they got throughout the week!

Saving Francesca is an all time fave of mine as is looking for alibrandi (same author). This week I’ve acquired & loved swimming through clouds (ya), swimming to Tokyo & the narrow road to the deep North.

I’m super excited about Saving Francesca!! And I’ve heard Looking for Alibrandi is one of her best. I definitely need to get it! I had never heard of the others, but Swimming Through Clouds sounds adorable! The other two certainly sound interesting as well, and I hope you really enjoy them!!
