The Sunday Post is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
So how did you get on with Truthwitch? I really loved it, but I’m aware that it has divided people, somewhat – and I also noticed ‘Calamity’ among your scrummy haul… What did you make of that? Am I write in thinking Risuko is set in Japan? Happy Easter and have a lovely reading week:)
I’m only about 1/3 of the way through Truthwitch; I’m enjoying it a lot, but the constant change in POV is making it seem to take a long time for anything to happen, and its hard to really connect with the characters because of that constant change; for me at least. I haven’t started Calamity but I love love LOVE the first two books in the series, so I have high hopes 🙂 And yes, Risuko is set in Japan in the 1500’s (I think); it’s really super interesting, I’m really liking it! Happy Easter to you too and Happy Reading!! 🙂

Yay for Ensnared. I love the covers of that trilogy. I loved the books, too. I have the first two Miss. Peregrine’s and I haven’t read either one yet. I received the Illustrated Sorcerer’s Stone from my son for Christmas. It is gorgeous! I’ve been curious about Risuko, I’ll be looking out for your review. Have a wonderful week.
Aren’t they fantastic? They did such a good job with those covers. I really wanted to read Miss Peregrine before the movie came out, cause the trailer looks awesome! Isn’t the illustrated copy wonderful? Of course, I’ve loved Harry Potter since the beginning, so I’m thrilled with any new stuff they bring out haha. I’m enjoyed Risuko a lot so far, it’s very interesting. But I am fascinated by Japanese culture; I watch a ton of anime and I adore all of Miyazaki’s movies. Not that that makes me an expert or anything haha, but I’m always thrilled to learn more about it!
