The patrons at the Hanging Stoat were running in every direction and shouting, while others scurried over to see what was going on. “Murder! Mayhem! Get the Sheriff!” they yelled.
Mr. Mungo echoed the refrain himself: “Murder? In the Hanging Stoat? Again?” (It wouldn’t be the first time, nor the last, Mungo thought to himself.)
