Random.org has spoken again, and this time, I may have groaned when I saw what I was to be watching this month: Game of Thrones; thanks to Lindley for the recommendation (even though I’m groaning in response)!
When GoT first aired, I watched probably the first five episodes, really only because my brother wanted me to. I have many problems with this show, and I’ll detail them a bit more in my recap of the pilot. To those of you who love it, sorry, but I kind of hate this show. And by kind of, I mean really, 100% loathe. Ok, maybe not 100%; I’m sure I could find a few redeeming qualities about it. I don’t mind going back and watching the pilot to specifically explain why I don’t like it, but I don’t plan on watching any more than that.
I’m always interested to hear specifically why people like it, because it really just doesn’t make sense to me why it’s so popular. So I’ll do a play-by-play, which should be really fun for those of you who have never seen it before.
I shockingly love Game of Thrones! I haven’t read the books yet, but plan to. I can totally understand why you’re not into it. There are tons of characters and it can get really confusing. I watch the whole series over again when a new season is about to start to get reacquainted with the many plots! 🙂

I know a ton of people who love it! Yeah, it’s just not for me. Too much gratuitous sex and nudity, and all the likable people die lol. I’m glad you love it though! It’s super intense and certainly fascinating!
