I don’t know really anything about this book, but the cover is pretty, and I’ve seen it floating around the blogosphere for a few weeks. Definitely on the TBR list.

It’s Richelle Mead. ‘Nuff said.
Tell the Wind and Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan
Release Date: April 5
I read the first book in Brennan’s Unspoken series this past year and enjoyed it, so I added this one just because of the author. Another one of those “I’ll get to it at some point. Sometime.”
The Rose and the Dagger (The Wrath and the Dawn #2) by Renee Ahdieh
Release Date: April 26
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BOOK SINCE THE FIRST ONE CAME OUT. I loved the first one. It was easily one of my favorite books from last year. The Wrath and the Dawn was a really great, romantic re-telling of 1001 Nights. I love love loved it. Pre-ordered this bad boy and can’t wait for it to show up in my mailbox!
The Mirror King (The Orphan Queen #2) by Jodi Meadows
Release Date: April 5
I enjoyed the Orphan Queen. I didn’t adore it, but it was a solid Fantasy read; nothing terribly new, unique, or exciting, but still entertaining. So I’m hoping for a similar experience with this sequel. Except maybe slightly more on the “wow” side?
Love, Lies, and Spies by Cindy Anstey
Release Date: April 19
I was very upset when I wasn’t approved for this book on NetGalley; I do so love historical romance stories about spies. Oh wait, I’ve never read one of those, but it sounds fantastic. Plus, I LOVE that cover.
There are so many other books coming out in April, but these are the ones I’m itching to get on my shelf. What books are you looking forward to?
That’s a nice roundup of April goodies:). Like you, I’m shortly about to start reading The Star-Touched Queen – I like the sound of it, but haven’t read anything by this author before… The other book I’m looking forward to – we have it pre-ordered is the 7th book in Benedict Jacka’s Alex Verus series, ‘Burned’. This is a bit after the style of Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series, only Alex’s big thing is being able to see short distances into the future. It’s nicely done and set in London, which is always a bonus for me. Happy reading!
I pretty much want to read all of these! I’ve read Tell the Wind and Fire, which I rather enjoyed. I’m rather excited for the Glittering Court, but I’m making myself hold off on buying it because of my book buying ban. I also really need to read the Wrath and the Dawn so that I can read the new one!
