Friday Book Beginnings: Alienated

Alienated by Melissa Landers

Publisher: Disney-Hyperion

Genre: YA Sci-Fi/Romance

Amazon | Barnes and Noble

Winning. Cara Sweeney had made it her business, and business was good. Honor society president? Check. Young Leader Award? Check. State debate champion two years running? Double check. And when the title of valedictorian had eluded her, she’d found a way to snag that, too.

I am absolutely inhaling this book. It’s like a mix of that 2000’s show “Roswell” and the new (and cancelled BOO) CW show “Starcrossed”. Lots of somewhat silly ‘oh, he’s an alien, but he looks just like us and he’s SO HOT’ and said alien being like “earth people EWWW”. Still, I am mega enjoying this book. Fans of Jennifer Armentrout’s writing style (snarky, romantic) will love this book.
