Ok, let’s be honest. I didn’t finish any books this week. I haven’t finished any books in about a month. But you know what I did finish?
Moonlight Drawn by Clouds
4 out of 5 Stars! One of my favorites that I’ve watched this year! Adorable and silly, with an undercurrent of darker politics. So engaging and lovable.
Ever the Hunted (Clash of Kingdoms #1) by Erin Summerill
Yep, still working on this one. Every time I read a chapter, I’m look “ooh this is really good” and then I forget books exist because I’m back to Kdrama.
It’s just a phase, I promise.
Ok, I don’t actually think that, but I’m dedicating January to reading as much as I can because I’m fresh out of my log of written reviews, meaning I need to read a library in January.
The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden
So, after watching Descendants of the Sun, (oh my goodness, if you like romance, the military, medical dramas, and adorable banter, go watch this show NOW. Descendants was AMAZING. I’ve already watched the whole thing twice through and I want to see it all again!) I decided I really really REALLY need more Song Joong Ki in my life (pictured center). Since he just finished his mandatory military service, he hasn’t done much in the past couple of years, so I had to go back a little and found this interesting drama. I miss his smiles and jokes and unending charm from Descendants of the Sun (he’s very serious and brooding in The Innocent Man, so far at least), but the story is interesting. Certainly darker and more mature than most of the shows I’ve been watching this year.
What are you reading this week?
It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by The Book Date.
I’ve just read a few reviews of Ever the Hunted this week so I’m really curious about it! Think I’m going to add it and try to read it early in ’17. Hope it’s good!

I’ve recently completed Ever the Hunted and really enjoyed it – I’ll be reviewing it next week:). Hope you manage to catch up with your reading – I hate it when I run out of reviews:(. Have a great Christmas – and hopefully find some time to READ!
