YES STEAMPUNK YES. This book is going well. Lots of interesting steampunk stuff going on, not to mention sort of a Beauty and the Beast vibe.

A Shadow Bright and Burning (Kingdom on Fire #1) by Jessica Cluess
I’ve actually been reading this book for a few weeks now, though I’m not super into it. On paper I’m super into it; the world building is really cool, I generally like the characters, there’s lots of mystery in the plot…but I just can’t seem to read more than one chapter at a time when I read it. I’m going to try to finish it up next week.
