Stacking the Shelves *13*

It’s November y’all!!! I really can’t believe it. Christmas is literally right around the corner. Although it feels like it’s been here forever already because I’ve been learning 70+ Christmas Carols for the last month for my new job as a Christmas Caroler. But don’t worry, I haven’t skipped over Thanksgiving. People get so mad when people get excited about Christmas before Thanksgiving.

CHRISTMAS IS AWESOME. LET THEM HAVE THEIR JOY.

Anyone else participating in NaNoWriMo this month? It’s my first time and I am both excited and terrified. I’ll let you guys know how it goes. If you are participating, please let me know and we can buddy up!

Well, that’s enough of that. Here’s what I added to my shelf this week!

Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison: I’ve seen lots of recommendations to read this series if you’re looking for good UF, which I am, so I gave in and bought it. Hopefully its as good as everyone says it is!

Reluctant Prince by Dani-Lyn Alexander: This is for a blog tour. Very interesting world and ideas so far. Not sure why it’s got such a terrible rating on Good Reads.

Illuminate by Aimee Agresti: Pretty cover from the “Girl in Red Prom Dress” phase of cover making. Didn’t know anything about it, but thought the book jacket design was pretty. What can I say? I’m shallow.

Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers: Thank you Netgalley! Loved Grave Mercy and I am really enjoying Dark Triumph! Sybella is pretty great; I didn’t think I would like her as much as Ismae, but she is definitely keeping me engaged.

Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini: I have been trying to get this for forever, so when I saw it at Half Price Books, I snatched it up. Very excited to read this one!

Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
