So, I’ve decided to start a new weekly event on my page that I’ve dubbed Terrific Tuesdays. Yeah, it’s kind of a lame name, but I was going for the alliteration aspect, so, if you have any suggestions, I’ll be happy to hear them.
Every month (or every 5 weeks) I’ll choose a category (favorite movie moments, favorite book series, favorite quotes etc) and I’ll do a countdown that month of that specific category. As of right now, I’m only going to do one every Tuesday, rather than all five of that category in one day. Because we are in the last week of July (I really can’t believe how fast summer is going!) I’m not going to start a category till next week.
HOWEVER. Since I couldn’t help myself, I’ll start with the Honorable Mention in my first category, Favorite TV Moments.
TV Moments Honorable Mention:
-Rose and Ten Kiss
I was a die hard Dr. Who fan for the new seasons 1-4. I have yet to bring myself to watch Matt Smith, although I recently watched a clip with him and Amy Pond, and I have the feeling that I would enjoy his Doctor. I am a David Tennant fan, however, making it very difficult for me to watch the show now. I about died when I saw both he and Billie Piper are signed on for the 50th anniversary episode.
Anyway, this was the moment all of us Rose/Ten fans were waiting for.
Of course, if you don’t watch Dr. Who, you probably saw that and thought “what the heck is going on there?” Believe me, even those of us who watch it kind of thought the same thing 🙂
Rose and Ten always had the best chemistry. They had the friend relationship as a strong foundation, and they weren’t even romantic for a long time, allowing a very natural, very believable romance to blossom. Some of my favorite moments of theirs are when they are just being adorable friends.I miss Rose/Ten severely, but am starting to be open to the idea of watching Matt Smith. Because as die-hard fans of Dr. Who say, it’s not about the actor, it’s about the character.
At least, until David Tennant showed up. Because, really, he’s pretty fantastic.
