Top Ten Tuesday #2: Ten Books Added to Your TBR Shelf Before You Started Blogging

Well, my TBR Shelf has over 1000 books on it, so this won’t be terribly difficult. I started using Good Reads in 2010, and I started blogging in May of 2013, so that’ll give you some context when you see the dates I added these to my TBR Shelf.

1. Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) by Cassandra Clare

Date Added: January 4, 2010 (Published in 2013)

I have read the first two books of this series, though I will need to read them again because I hardly remember them at all. Suffice to say I was obsessed with Cassandra Clare in high school.

2. Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss #2) by Stephanie Perkins

Date Added: August 3, 2011 (Published September 29, 2011)

At some point I read Anna and the French Kiss, in my first year of blogging I think. I loved it and vowed to read this immediately after; you can see how that ended up. This one is actually sitting on my physical shelf right next to me. I need to read it ASAP.

3. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

I’ve really only read her Shiver series, so I’d like to get to this and the Raven Cycle.

4. Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare

Date Added: May 31, 2012 (Published on March 8, 2016)

It still blows my mind that I added this four years before it came out. And that we’ve now reached that point. It felt like forever ago when I put it on my TBR shelf.

5. Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid #1) by Richelle Mead

Date Added: June 16, 2012 (Published on March 1, 2007)

I think after I started reading Vampire Academy, I went in search of all things Richelle Mead. I’m a big fan of UF now so I really need to read this one. This is also sitting on my physical book shelf, waiting to be read.

6. Storm Born (Dark Swan #1) by Richelle Mead

Date Added: June 16, 2012 (Published January 1, 2008)

Another Richelle Mead I was ravenous for, but didn’t quite get to. Still high on my UF TBR.

7. Tiger’s Curse (The Tiger Saga #1) by Colleen Houck

Date Added: June 24, 2012 (Published on January 11, 2011)

Also sitting on my shelf. Also really interested in reading. I’m noticing a pattern here.

8. Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Date Added: July 3, 2012 (Published on September 18, 2012)

I honestly can’t believe I haven’t read this one yet. I was disgustingly obsessed with JLA a few years back. Still love her stuff and read most of it, but I’ve calmed down a bit since then. Not sure how this one slipped through the cracks.

9. Starcrossed (Starcrossed #1) by Josephine Angelini

This one is actually part of a challenge I’m participating in this year, so I should get to it pretty quick here.

10. Magic Bites (Kate Daniels #1) by Ilona Andrews

Date Added: July 16, 2012 (Published on April 1, 2007)

Added during my “I’m an UF newbie, lets add all the things!” phase. Still working through that list. Really want to read this series. I’ve heard awesome things about it.
