It’s Monday! What are you Reading?

Well, I’m back to the “It’s Monday” meme. I always liked it when I was doing it before, and I don’t know why it faded away. There are so many good memes out there, I think I just sort of flip flop back and forth between many of them.

A Shadow Bright and Burning Kitty Hawk

A Shadow Bright and Burning (Kingdom on Fire #1) by Jessica Cluess  – already lots of cool world building in this one; the baddies are super creepy, and there’s lots of magic, which is always a big plus! Releases on September 20.

Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold (Kitty Hawk Flying Detective Agency #1) by Iain Reading – Kitty Hawk is downright charming. A young girl who flies her own plane investigates whales, gold rush history, and gold robbers in this fun adventure through Alaska and Canada.

Last Week's Reading

MacLean's Passion

MacLean’s Passion (Highland Pride #2) by Sharon Cullen – 3 Stars – MacLean’s Passion was a decent romance; not my favorite, but I enjoyed it enough to make it through to the end. Some sweet relationship development, but not necessarily a whole lot else. Good for lovers of Romance Novels, specifically set in the Scottish Highlands. Full review to come.

Daughter of the Forest Death Wish

Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters #1) by Juliet Marillier – I am so excited about this one. I have seen nothing but insanely positive reviews for it, and I love a good Fantasy. Seriously can’t wait.

Death Wish (Ceruleans #1) by Megan Tayte – Review Request! I am so behind, it’s not even funny. And I hate that there’s a bit of bad blood going around with bloggers letting authors down by not reading their books when they accept a request! I never want to be that person. So I’m trying to get through all the requests I’ve accepted in a mildly timely manner.

It’s Monday! is currently hosted by The Book Date.
